Our Mission
Vesta Fund's Areas of Giving
Vesta Fund is a private grant-making foundation that enhances and supports charitable community resources, focusing primarily on mental health and animal welfare, for the immediate benefit of individuals and families in Philadelphia, Montgomery, and Bucks counties.
Of its overall giving, only Mental Health and Animal Welfare are open to competitive application. Please click through pages on this site to find online portals to submit grant requests.
No other areas of support are open to unsolicited request.
Vesta Fund contracts The Glenmede Trust Company to make investments and process grant-making transactions. Please note — grants, when awarded — are given solely by Vesta Fund, not Glenmede Trust.
Mental Health
Basic healthy functioning requires access to resources and opportunities that best address a host of modern psychological challenges – among them: stress, anxiety, depression, exhaustion, communication difficulties, and more.
Vesta Fund supports community agencies promoting mental and behavioral health, human potential, and general human advancement for the good of individuals, families, and the larger community.
Animal Welfare
A Gifting Program of the Vesta Fund was created to promote animal welfare by supporting direct charitable services, including animal rescue, advocacy, shelter, adoption, fostering, and medical, dental, and end-of-life care.
Vesta Fund does not support organizations that euthanize animals.
